Barratt Asset Management, which will become The BAM Companies (BAM Management, BAM Construction, and BAM Capital), is founded by Ivan Barratt. Starting in Property Management, Barratt Asset Management managed smaller deals and houses with quiet growth.

2010

BAM Secures

First Acquisition

Woods Edge in Muncie, Indiana becomes BAM Management's first large property with 112 units.

Key Hires

Key Hires: Emilee Meyers was brought on as Accounting Manager as BAM Management was growing and needed additional bookkeeping help. This position would become Vice President of Finance.

Jerry Hyatt was brought on as a Senior Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the growing maintenance team. This role would become Vice President of Maintenance and Construction.

BAM begins

Building A Portfolio

BAM begins building portfolio by acquiring White River Village in Anderson, IN and Lexington Green/Villa Capri in Speedway, IN.

BAM Management expanded headquarters and operates out of Downtown Indianapolis.

Catherine Azar was brought on as Regional Property Manager to oversee expanding portfolio/team. This role would become Vice President of Property Management.

BAM acquires

First Out Of State Property Acquisition

BAM Management acquires Oakdale Square (200 units), Walnut Manor/Fox Brook, Abbey Court (250 units), and Mad River (302 units). Mad River becomes the largest acquisition to date and it the first out-of-state asset.

2017

BAM Management acquires Fountain Parc (241 units), Gateway Crossing (160 units), Nantucket Cove (240 units), and Carmel Woods (314 units).

BAM acquires The Reserve (158 units) and Greenfield Crossing (272 units).

BAM Management acquires Hamilton Station (192 units), Aberdeen (354 units), The Bristol (211 units), and Pebble Brook Village (236 units). Aberdeen becomes the largest asset to date.
